The 'sad' situation of Madina Broni, Ghana's first transgender woman (photos)

He was born a male but died as female. He was born Prince Coleman but became Angela Coleman aka Madina Broni. Madina Broni was 26 years old and a fashion designer, make up artist, and professional beautician.

The first Ghanaian transgender woman hailed from the heart of Madina, one of Ghana’s most popular and dominated Muslim community. She lived most of her life in Madina, and she decided that she wouldn’t be a man again in 2015.

Madina Broni hoped to become a fashionist to make Ghana famous.

She told journalists she had switched from male to female and was subjected to surgery in Spain. Coleman noted her family and friends support her, saying she managed a stylist’s own company.

The transgender who spoke to the media last year said most of the people did not know she was a transgender but assumed she was a woman.

“I used to be named broni, maame, botos, and other names when I grew up. I realized that in 2015 I was more likely to find myself as a woman, so in Spain, I paid around $60,000 to have an operation to make a full woman. I like to be a woman … Who’d want to be a guy? She said, ‘Chaii.”

Broni said she needed other men, because “it is a new dawn, the transgender person comes out of its closets today—a time to get up to the chance".

Madina Broni was reported dead in April this year. But within hours, her friends came out to deny the rumours. Meanwhile they could not tell the whereabouts of the slay queen.

CitizenOne cannot single handedly confirm or otherwise the rumours. However, what remains clear is that should Prince Coleman now Angela Coleman die today, she will die a woman instead of the God created man. How confused the angels in heaven will be on his or her arrival at the gates.

Why The Ugliest Woman In World's History Turned Down Over 20 Marriage Proposals EricajennyMay 20, 2021 8:47 AM Julia Pastrana, who suffered from a genetic condition that covered her face in hair, performed in circuses as a freak of nature. The woman in question was a performer and singer during the 19th century. Her name is Julia Pastrana though bullies call her Ape Woman due to her hairy body and fully grown hair on her face. Her condition left her with no choice but to perform circuses as a freak of nature. Julia Pastrana died in 1860 after giving birth to her only son with the similar genetic disorder who got to live for only a few days. In one interview for the press, she declared to have turned down more than twenty marriage proposals because of the candidates’ low financial status. Her ears and nose were abnormally large, and her teeth were irregular. This condition was caused by a rare, undiagnosed disease during her lifetime, gum hyperplasia, which thickened her lips and gums. After Rescuing Them, Firemen Realized They Weren't Puppies Wanderoam by TaboolaSponsored Links After Pastrana’s death, her husband, Lent, sold her and their son’s body to Professor Sukolov of Moscow University, who kept them permanently. Her body was preserved by taxidermy, a process that combines taxidermy techniques with embalming chemicals. Her singing and dancing skills brought her to the top of her career. For more than a hundred years, the bodies of Pastrana and her son have been exhibited around the world in museums, circuses, and amusement parks. They appeared in Norway in 1921 and toured the United States until 1972. Later that same year, a tour of Sweden aroused considerable public opposition. For much of her brief, sad life, Julia Pastrana was denigrated, dehumanized and put on display for the amusement - and profit - of others, including her own husband.
